Howdy,
My name is Ryan Gurchin and I'm a Nebraska-born photographer and videographer based in Los Angeles, CA.
The body of work I maintain seeks to explore soul and story through a mixture of mediums, including digital, 35mm and 120mm medium format film photography, video production, and drone piloting (licensed part 107 FAA drone pilot). Other roles I'm experienced in are directing, cinematography, gaffing, on-set camera assist, audio operation, digitech, retouching and styling.
Over time I've come to consider myself a jack-of-all-frames, realizing I favor versatility in both the jobs I choose and get to work on as well as the multiple avenues of photography I specialize in. I'm currently available for commercial, editorial, portraiture, drone operation, music videos, bts work, weddings and personal passion projects throughout California and beyond.
